Ingredients

½ bunch kale leaves

½ tbsp extra virgin olive oil or melted coconut oil

1 ½ tbsp nutritional yeast

1 tsp garlic powder

¾ tsp chili powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp smoked paprika

¼ tsp sea salt

⅛ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.

Remove leaves from the stems of the kale and tear them up into large pieces. Wash and spin the leaves until thoroughly dry.

Add kale leaves to a large bowl. Massage in the oil until the leaves are well coated. Add the spices and toss to coat.

Spread the kale onto the prepared baking tray in a single layer.

Bake for 10 minutes, rotate the tray, and bake for another 12-15 minutes until the kale begins to get crispy.

Allow the kale to cool slightly and then enjoy.
