Week 20: Your baby can hear you
Your baby can hear you! And react to the sounds it is exposed to. Your baby is listening to, and may even move or kick in response to hearing your voice, heartbeat, and digestive sounds, your conversations, music, and other noises. What an exciting time in your pregnancy!

Food of the Week: Organic Tempeh
An excellent source of non-heme iron, organic tempeh is also a great source of protein, prebiotics, vitamins, and minerals. It’s packed with vitamin B6 and folate, calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, copper, and also delivers 100 per cent of the daily requirement for manganese. Remember to consume tempeh and other fermented soy products (like tofu,miso, natto, soy sauce) made from organically grown soybeans only occasionally.

Miso Soup - Two Ways (Spring and Winter)
Both of these miso soup recipes are filled with all the healing qualities of kombu and shiitake mushrooms. One is ideal for cooler spring days when you’re craving something warm and light, and the other will provide comfort and warmth when you and baby are feeling chilled on a cold winter night.
Marinated Baked Tempeh
Add the crispy and caramelised marinated baked tempeh cubes to any salad or bowl, or as a way to boost the protein of a meal or snack. This is a great way to add tempeh to your pregnancy diet.
Rice Paper Rolls
These rainbow rice paper rolls are filled with crispy, colourful vegetables, tempeh and a magic dipping sauce. Perfect to make on the weekend when you’ve got a bit of extra time to spend in the kitchen.
