Week 24: Your baby’s immune system is developing this week
This week your baby’s bone marrow is actively producing the white blood cells that are part of its immune system and will help fight infections. Also happening this week, the lower airways of your baby’s lungs are developing and will start working immediately after birth. The hair on your baby’s head is now also growing — I wonder what colour it will be?

Food of the Week: Broccoli
Broccoli is delicious raw or cooked and can be enjoyed as part of a salad, as a side dish or in a soup. One cup of raw broccoli contains nearly 300mg of potassium, 81mg of vitamin C, 28mcg of vitamin A, 92.5mcg of vitamin K, as well as moderate amounts of fibre, folate and iron.
