Week 36: Your baby is the size of a bunch of bananas
This week your baby will shed what’s left of the downy hair which will mix with the amniotic fluid. The baby will swallow both of these substances along with others such as bile and mucus. This forms what is known as meconium, and will be your baby’s first bowel movement.
