Avocado-Hemp Spread
Hemp seeds are filled with protein, fibre and minerals such as magnesium and potassium. They also contain omega-3 fatty acids. Make this creamy spread and serve with cucumber slices or organic brown rice crackers. One serve of this spread will add 142 calories to your diet.

Ingredients
2 large ripe avocados
2 tbsp hemp seeds
juice and zest of 1 lime or lemon
salt and pepper to taste
Method
Add the flesh from the two avocados to a bowl. Using a fork, mash the avocado until smooth. Fold in the hemp seeds, juice and zest, salt and pepper. Serve with cucumber slices, vegetable sticks or organic brown rice crackers for an easy and nutritious pregnancy snack.
