This week your baby's little eyebrows are starting to grow as are her adult teeth (the baby teeth started developing weeks ago) so it’s important your pregnancy diet is filled with healthy sources of calcium, vitamin D, magnesium and phosphorus.

Essential Nutrients this Week: Calcium, Vitamin D, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Manganese, Phosphorus, Vitamin C, Vitamin E

Food of the Week: Leafy Green Vegetables

To supply the calcium needed for your baby’s healthy bone and tooth development that is now taking place, it’s important to ensure you’re getting enough calcium in your diet. High in dietary fibre, leafy green vegetables are also high in calcium. In order for calcium to be well absorbed by your body, a good ratio of magnesium is also needed. Leafy green vegetables and other plant sources of calcium provide a high amount of magnesium and therefore good calcium absorption.
