Week 10: Your baby’s taste buds are forming
By this week all of your baby’s major body systems have formed and will continue to grow. Additionally, your baby’s neck begins to develop this week, eyelids are growing to cover and protect the developing eyes, and taste buds are forming on its little tongue. Food of the Week: Cauliflower
Cauliflower is a great source of fibre, choline, vitamin B6, folate and vitamin C. It is also high in minerals including zinc, phosphorus, selenium and sodium. All of these vitamins and minerals are needed to support the healthy growth and development of your baby at this time. Cauliflower is also an excellent source of antioxidants, which will help boost your immunity. Enjoy cauliflower raw, roasted or in a soup.
